We realized that while a static tee is great for teaching basic mechanics, it fails at the most critical part of hitting: timing and reaction. A ball sitting completely still on a rubber stick doesn't force an athlete to load, track, and react.

Worse, getting quality, moving pitches required a parent or coach to sit behind an L-screen and throw perfect BP for an hour. When life got busy, the reps stopped.

We needed a way for our kids to get game-speed, dynamic reps completely solo. We looked everywhere. The existing pitching machines were too expensive, too bulky, and required power cords.

So, we decided to build it ourselves.
